We are an independent editorial team. We read regulator publications, provincial lottery reports and court records, and turn them into plain-language guides for each province. We do not run a casino, and we don’t accept payment for higher rankings.

    Every guide is written against the rules that apply in each province, because the legal picture changes when you cross a provincial line.

Where our information comes from

Every figure comes from a regulator, a provincial corporation, a court or a named news report, with its date. For game studios, the reference is the AGCO and AGLC lists of registered gaming-related suppliers.

How we will review casinos

We have not published operator reviews yet. When we do, every operator will go through the same five-step checklist.

    Licensing first

    Ontario operators will be confirmed against the AGCO register. Outside Ontario, we will check what the provincial regulator allows before an operator goes into a guide.

  2. 02

    Payments and withdrawals

    Before we publish a review, we will check deposits, withdrawals and account verification, and record timing, verification steps and any holds.

  3. 03

    Game library

    We will record what the operator actually offers, not what the marketing claims: the studios represented and the size of the live-dealer and slot catalogues.

  4. 04

    Canadian banking

    Interac e-Transfer is essential. We will also note Visa Debit, Apple Pay, prepaid options and bank transfers where supported.

  5. 05

    Responsible-gambling tools

    Deposit limits, loss limits, session limits, cooling-off and self-exclusion need to be easy to find. Operators that hide them will be scored down.

What we will never do

  • Sell a ranking. No operator can pay for a higher score, a higher rank or a softer assessment.
  • Hide how we earn. Operators we link to may pay us a referral commission. We will disclose every commercial relationship in plain language.
  • Run a casino. We are an independent guide, not an operator, and we do not operate any online casino.
In Ontario
Ontario’s iGaming market is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and iGaming Ontario. We will only list operators registered with the AGCO that operate under an agreement with iGaming Ontario. AGCO’s advertising rules for affiliate sites are stricter than those in the rest of Canada, and we follow them on our Ontario pages.
